With a bullpen like this.. does anyone else just want to skip next season.. and just hand the Red Soxs the World Series Trophy now??? While Santana would really help out the Yankees bullpen.. as I stated in a post last week.. He would make a Red Soxs bullpen unstoppable!

I have been a redsox fan for 60yrs, and Ellesberry is the most exciting player I have seen ever on this team,if they trade him I think It will be the biggest mistake they have made since they traded “babe Ruth”. I hope if he is traded that he becomes a super star and comes back and beats them every time they meet!!!. I will be routing for the team he is on “against” the redsox. Maybe we can start another hex on the sox for about 82yrs.

Love the passion about your team.. but you can see the great upside for your bullpen with the addition of Santana? If you guys get him.. Im serious.. We need just hand over the trophy.. and skip the season! A healthy Schilling, Beckett, and Santana = 110+ win season..

Uh, not that Ellesbury isn’t going to be good…but its Johan Santana. He’s good right now. The Red Sox can go “Patriots Dynasty” on the MLB if they get him.
WOW! The Red Sox will no doubt secure a place in post-season play (and eventually be 2008 World Series Champions) with this starting rotation. Add to that a bullpen that has Papelbon as the closer….have the Red Sox talked to Gagne yet? Now the only left for the 2008 season is which NL will have the misfortune to face the Sox in October??
