Ok.. so if you live in Dallas, or listen to the Ticket over the internet.. then you know who this dynamic duo is.. Mike Rhyner (Left) and Greg “The Hammer” Williams (Right)  make up 2/3 of the Hardline.. Afternoon drive time program on  1310 The Ticket .. Greg Williams has since left the Ticket due to a relapse into drug use.. This is the artcle that was written up on LD’s favorite blog,  Unfair Park..

    For those of you who read this blog that don’t live in Dallas, understand this is about a radio station “The Ticket”… it is sports talk radio, but it really isn’t “sports talk”. The hardline is/was that station’s best show (M-F 3:30-7pm).

    Its more like what would happen if Sienfield loved sports and had a talk radio program… except add in a twisted dark sense of humor, a blunt nature, unhealthy obsession with boobs, local news insight, nightlife/lifestyle commentary, and the best musical taste of any professional on-air personalities currently in Dallas.

    So yeah, I’m a big fan that is rather upset at the way this has turned out… this show was a staple of my work day… it just hasn’t been the same without the #2 man on the scene…

    I can only hope they hire a new #2 that offers something unique… my vote would be Robert Wilonsky.

    I agree.. it was the best show.. Now I have to give the best show award to Bad Radio.. I will miss Greg Williams.. “Do you like this job” yes.. “that wasnt the question”! Ah.. The drops that Greggo had..

    I keep waiting for Greggo to reemerge on the Dallas ESPN Radio affiliate, or some other Metroplex-area outlet, but it still hasn’t happened. Word has it that Richie Whitt’s tell-all blow-the-lid-off Observer cover story about why Greggo really left The Ticket should be out in the next week or two.
