*This post marks #500*
With so much going on this week leading up to the AFC/NFC Championship Games.. I decided to do a *points of interest* post.. Enjoy
Randy Moss is in the news for the first time this season. Apparently he is taking a page out of Pacman Jones book.. I don’t buy it for one minute. I think its more a case of.. “Hey your a big money athlete” and my hand is out! Randy usually keeps his personal life off the field.. So I don’t buy this at all..
Aaron Ross *former Longhorn great* returns to practice after getting banged up against Dallas.. which will be a GREAT addition to an already beat up Giants secondary.. Sam Madison also looks to be making a return to the secondary on Sunday.. I still say they have a snowballs chance in hell in the frozen tundra.. Madison and Ross could give Favre fits if he decides to revert back to the Favre of last year.. Sorry Packers fans.. but Favre did not protect the ball all that well last year, and did choose to throw into double and triple coverage often.. Just putting it out there
Now moving on to the Chargers.. Ok if your a Chargers fan.. and you have Norv Turner as your coach, and the following players missing practice.. to recover from injuries.. How much do you like your chances this weekend? LaDainian Thomlinson(knee), Antonio Gates(toe), Jamal Williams(ankle), Shawne Merriman(sick), and Philip Rivers(knee) all have missed practice this week.. Sadly enough.. all key players in the slim and none upset chance against the Patriots..
Not really playoff related, but Tony Dungy.. one of the leagues most classy, and stand up coaches is set to let the world know if he is going to retire on Monday.. I can honestly say while I don’t really care for the Colts.. I was glad to see Tony Dungy finally get a Superbowl ring.. He has been a class act throughout his career.. From player to head coach..
Just an all out good read ”It would be a match made in QB heaven” Referring to a Brady/Favre Superbowl..
