MotoGP Season Opener: Qatar

In all the excitement of the 200, I failed to post about the MotoGP season’s beginnings.

MotoGP is the Grand Prix of motorcycles. You can’t go out to the local Ducati or Honda dealer and buy one of these things. You need to have a World class rider, sponsors and a HUGE line of credit for these million dollar babies. The MotoGP series uses pretty much the same venues as WSBK with a stop in California at Laguna Seca.

Only 1 Ducati in the top 10 this time but you might notice he won, and he’s the reigning World Champ.

Remember, in racing there really isn’t a second place, just a first loser, but you still get points.

I knew it.. I knew if Pacman kept bumpin his gums about wanting to play for the Cowboys, the hamster would jump on the wheel, and Jerry’s mind would start turning.. Jerry Jones is actually considering bring Pacman to Dallas.. Now in order to do this.. he would have to work a deal with the Titans, as Jones has not been officially released from the Titans.. A deal shouldn’t really be all that hard to arrange between anyone interested in Pacman. The Titans want to cut ties with Jones.. but would also like to get something for him.

Jerry is really pushing his luck with the fans.. First taking a chance on T.O., then bringing in Tank Johnson, and don’t even get me started on the new stadium ticket prices.. I would say I’m all for giving players second chances.. but Pacman has had his second chance.. and I really don’t want his third chance to be in Dallas..

Green Headed Back To St. Louis…

So it seems that the Rams have no interest in winning this upcoming season either.. Signing Trent Green to a 3 year deal today, to be Marc Bulgers back up.. Both injury prone quarterbacks.. Trent Green especially.. I’m all for a player trying to make a come back, but this is getting really old.. As you can see in the picture above.. He is a concussion waiting to happen.. I hope it all works out for Green.. After last seasons injury that left him motionless on the field down in Houston.. I really think he should be like Steve Young, and Troy Aikman.. and just leave the game.. while he still has his health.. Just my opinion thou..

If your a Colts fan, and would like a piece of the RCA dome.. good news.. The Colts will be holding an auction to get rid of some stuff.. including seats, and pieces of the turf.. The Colts new stadium is expected to be completed before their first presseason game this season.. I wonder if Jerry Jones is going to do this when the Cowboys get ready to move to *Jerry World* next season. I have to say it would be kinda cool to have a couple of the seats from Texas Stadium. They are uncomfortable as hell.. but still a piece of history none the less..
