Buffalo shows its MOXY

Sabres and Maple Leafs were at war last night. Sabres for all intent purposes should have lost last night game. As my buddies and I watched the first two periods, Buffalo was just getting run over by Toronto. The passing game, speed, positioning none of that was there in Buffalo, but it sure was for Toronto. Then BAM all of a sudden with their backs almost against the wall in the third. This game became a battle I will just call “Anything you can do, I can do better”. Buffalo rallied early in the third to tie up the game with two quick back to back goals. Then it just seemed destined that the Maple Leafs would win, as they raced down the ice and scored to get the lead. This would go on again as they traded goals and forced an overtime. I was jaw dropped on my seat saying “What the FUH”. It almost went to a shootout, in  a way i hoped it would, it would have been fun to see. Especially the way pucks were being fired last night. Alas Buffalo with 4 seconds left before shootout score the eventual winner. It’s the first time this season the Sabres have erased a two-goal deficit. Last season, the Presidents’ Trophy winners rallied from two goals down to win nine times, including a victory over Toronto in March when they were three goals behind in the third period. Your Final :

Buffalo Sabres – 5

Toronto Maple Leafs – 4 (OT)
