Bonds* Indictment

Well.. I felt like justice might finally be served when Bonds* was indicted earlier in the week.. After reading this article this morning.. I’m not so sure this whole thing will be nothing more then a slap on the wrist for Bonds* This is an insert from the article

“The maximum penalty for each of the four perjury charges is five years in prison, and 10 years for the obstruction charge.

A more likely sentence under federal guidelines would be 15 to 30 months in jail if Bonds is convicted, West said, or less than that if he pleads guilty. The guidelines allow a reduction if a defendant pleads early in the case and accepts responsibility. West said the reduction could result in a sentence of less than 12 months and could involve probation or home detention”

Key point of interest here..

Does anyone see a problem with Bonds* pleading guilty and getting 12 months of house arrest, or jail time.. When Greg Anderson, Bonds* long time friend and trainer has seen more jail time for not testifying against Bonds*??

I’m sorry but if Bonds* pleads guilty.. and gets his slap on the wrist.. then he basically just told America and Baseball to “F**K OFF” I’m Barry Bonds*, and  I can do whatever the hell I want to do! Barry Bonds* has always been a prick.. For whatever reason.. He blames his being an ass on the way the media treated his dad.. Whatever.. You were born a prick.. you will die a prick.. and a cheater..

If major league baseball wants to clean up its image.. It starts with something more the 12 friggin months of house arrest, or jail time.. You make an example of Barry Bonds*!! Show the players around the league.. in the farm systems.. college.. and even high school.. that when you get caught cheating.. you will pay the price.. I guess only time will tell what will happen to Bonds*
